Privacy Policy
This policy explains how JewelryJobs.in, a jewellery-sector job portal operated by Opportia HR Services, Mumbai (“we”, “us”), collects and uses personal data. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
1. What we collect
Candidates: name, email, phone number, location, sector, CV and profile details you add, and the jobs you apply to.
Employers: contact name, organisation, email, phone number, jobs you post and billing details needed for invoices. Card and UPI payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store card or bank details.
Everyone: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and server logs.
2. How we use it
To create and manage your account, show and process job applications, let employers review candidates who applied to their jobs, contact you about applications, interviews and your account, process payments, prevent misuse of the site, and improve the service.
3. Who can see your data
Candidate profiles are private. Your CV and contact details are shared only with the employer, or with Opportia HR Services acting for its client, for the jobs you apply to. We use service providers for hosting, email delivery and payments, who process data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we remove your profile and CV within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
5. Your rights
You can view and update your profile from your dashboard at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct or erase your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@jewelryjobs.in.
6. Cookies
We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run the site, and basic analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.
7. Security
The site uses HTTPS, and access to candidate data is limited to the people who need it. No system is fully secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
